From 9 to 12 April 2026, Cannara hosts the new edition of Festival della Vernaccia, an event dedicated to Vernaccia di Cannara, the traditional local passito wine. The festival offers an opportunity to discover and taste this characteristic product of the area through moments of gathering and gastronomic proposals.

During the event, the food stand Al Cortile Antico – Avis Cannara will be open every evening for dinner. The menu is inspired by the flavours of Vernaccia, with dishes that reflect local cuisine and highlight the traditional passito wine of Cannara.

The festival takes place in the town centre and offers an informal setting where visitors can share the local food and wine tradition. On Sunday 12 April the stand will be open only for lunch, while the event will conclude in the afternoon with a final apericena in Piazza Baldaccini, scheduled at 6:00 pm.
