Pietrafitta (Piegaro) hosts from 24 April to 3 May 2026 the Sagra degli Asparagi di Bosco e dei Prodotti Tipici Locali, a festival in its 26th edition dedicated to promoting one of the most representative products of the area. The event is an established fixture in the local Umbrian festival calendar. At the heart of the festival is wild asparagus, a seasonal product harvested in the woods surrounding the village, which takes centre stage in the menus offered throughout the days of the event. Alongside it, local typical products reflecting the gastronomic traditions of the territory offer visitors a journey through the flavours of Umbrian cuisine.
