From Stroncone, the route climbs towards the locality of “I Prati”.
The trail is particularly scenic and completely immersed in nature, winding through mountain woodlands. Upon reaching the plateau of I Prati, the route continues across another level section before descending into the Rieti Valley. The final stretch follows a paved downhill path, which is left only near the end to take a narrow trail leading to a point above the Sanctuary of Greccio.
