A stage with significant but not excessively demanding elevation changes. Assisi deserves to be experienced and visited at a leisurely pace. The itinerary is particularly pleasant: the route along the slopes of Mount Subasio, through coppice woodland and olive groves, offers beautiful views over the plain below and is rich in springs. The arrival in Spello from above provides a fine view of the town.
