Polino: the smallest village in Umbria Clinging to the side of a mountain, Polino is a medieval village offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. A park to experience The Nera River Park is not just a protected area: thanks to the Park Consortium, established in 1995, environmental and cultural revitalisation projects have been carried out, including the restoration of thematic trails and the promotion of organic farming. How to get there: By car: The park is easily accessible from Terni, just a few kilometers away. By train: Terni's train station is well connected to Rome and other major cities.
