The main places of traditional production are Perugia, Torgiano, Spoleto, Orvieto and Terni. In these cities, the master goldsmiths have brought to light the Etruscan technique of granulation consisting in welding different gold granules on the same sheet of precious material. In particular, in Torgiano, the work is carried out with gold of high title that gives the works a unique colour and delicacy.
