Between Palazzo di Assisi (Assisi), Pianello (Perugia), Costa di Trex (Assisi) and Perugia, from 6 June 2026 to 6 February 2027, the CambioFestival returns for its 26th edition.

Founded in 2000 by the Ponte Levatoio Social Promotion Association, the festival combines adventurous music programming with the enhancement of Umbria's historic and artistic heritage, bringing jazz, world music and chamber music concerts to medieval castles, churches and villages across the region.

The 2026 programme opens on 6 June at Castel San Gregorio (Perugia) with the Trio Vasari in a chamber music concert. The summer centrepiece takes place at the Castello di Palazzo di Assisi (Assisi) over three consecutive July evenings: the 16th with Paolo Ricca Group between jazz and progressive, the 17th with the Antonio Forcione Quartet exploring world music, and the 18th with Renaud Garcia-Fons and his Blue Maqam, blending jazz and Mediterranean sounds. In August the festival moves to the Chiesa di Santo Stefano in Costa di Trex (Assisi), with Ajde Zora on the 9th — Balkan and gipsy music — and the Perugia Big Band on the 10th with Orchestral Suite No. 1. The cycle closes on 6 February 2027 at the Auditorium San Francesco al Prato (Perugia) with Schumann's Der Rose Pilgerfahrt for choir and orchestra.
