In Assisi, from 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2027 at the Sala Stampa, a short walk from the Basilica of Saint Francis, “Con Francesco – Immersive Experience” takes place, a Virtual Reality project dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi. The initiative presents an immersive retelling of his story through digital technologies.

The experience lasts approximately 17 minutes and unfolds in a series of scenes retracing key moments of Francis’ human and spiritual journey. The narrative guides visitors from his encounter with Christ to his choice of poverty, from the embrace of the leper to the Christmas of 1223 in Greccio, concluding with the vision on Mount La Verna and the Canticle of the Creatures.

Virtual environments recreate symbolic places such as the church of San Damiano, Greccio and Mount La Verna, allowing visitors to follow the Saint’s path in a direct way. The story focuses on the theme of hope, offering a concise reinterpretation of his life.
