In Castelnuovo di Assisi, at Il Lavandeto di Assisi, the Festa della Lavanda 2026 takes place during the weekends of June 13–14, 20–21, 27–28 and July 4–5, 2026, marking its 17th edition. The event is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and allows visitors to explore the garden and lavender fields during the blooming period. Admission requires the purchase of a small lavender bouquet; children under 10 enter free of charge.

The festival takes place in a three-hectare garden dedicated to aromatic plants. Visitors can walk among the lavender rows and explore areas dedicated to ornamental salvias and medicinal plants, take part in guided tours and attend demonstrations of lavender distillation. During the event the nursery also presents a selection of plants and lavender-related products.

Food areas are available with freshly prepared dishes, drinks and lavender ice cream. On Friday and Saturday evenings during the festival, from 7:00 p.m., picnic evenings among the lavender rows with live music or DJ sets are organized. Evening access is reserved for visitors who book the picnic dinner menus in advance.

The lavender bloom can also be visited on weekdays from June 10 to July 10, from Monday to Friday. Guided tours for groups and travel agencies are also available.
