Perugia's Arena Borgo Bello hosts Figuratevi from 2 July to 20 August, a performing arts festival for children and families. Companies from across Italy bring puppets, marionettes and dolls to the stage in a programme designed to delight audiences of all ages with the best of contemporary puppet theatre.

Each show is a chance to rediscover a theatrical language that speaks to everyone, where materials come to life in the hands of the performers and stories unfold with lightness and imagination.

The festival also offers puppet-making creative workshops: hands-on sessions where children and families learn the craft and build their own character, turning the visit into an experience to take home.
