From 24th July to 2rd August 2026, the towns of Gualdo Cattaneo (Parco Acquarossa) and Massa Martana will host the thirty-eighth edition of the Italian International Balloon Grand Prix. Pilots from all over the world will gather for this event, which transforms the Umbrian sky into a spectacle of colours.

The programme includes daily hot air balloon take-offs at 06:00, alternating departure bases between Parco Acquarossa and Massa Martana. A culminating moment will be the Night Glow show, between 20:00 and 22:00, which will simultaneously illuminate the skies of Passignano sul Trasimeno, Castiglione del Lago, Tuoro, and Magione, with the hot air balloons lighting up like gigantic lanterns.
