Lirico Sperimentale. Manifesti d’autore 2026
From 21 February to 2 June 2026, in Spoleto, at Palazzo Collicola, the exhibition “Lirico Sperimentale. Manifesti d’autore” is on view. The exhibition retraces the visual history of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale through a selection of posters, sketches and preparatory drawings.
The display places original drawings alongside the posters created to promote opera seasons, offering an overview of the evolution of graphic language from the 1970s to the present and highlighting the dialogue between visual arts, music and theatre.
Works by Emanuele Luzzati, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Toti Scialoja, Pietro Consagra, Ester Grossi and Gilberto Cappelli are presented in the exhibition. These materials make it possible to observe the process from the initial graphic idea to its public circulation.
The exhibition offers a glimpse into the history of the Sperimentale and its relationship with the city of Spoleto, highlighting the institution’s contribution to the musical and cultural life of the area.
