The route starts in Castiglione del Lago and is 34 kilometers long with 350 meters of elevation gain.
It has no major hills, but is not completely flat. It can be tackled by anyone with a minimum of training and is suitable to be ridden on a road bike, gravel, e-bike or touring bike.

The first part climbs very gently to Casamaggiore. Then a valley section begins that leads to Gioiella, Vaiano and Villastrada, following the Strada del Vino dei Colli del Trasimeno.
