Buonacquisto di Arrone, within the Valentino Paparelli Mining Park, hosts the Mining Trek on Horseback on Sunday, May 31, an initiative linked to the National Mining Day and dedicated to exploring the mining landscape through an outdoor horseback experience. The day begins at the ASD Equiminiera riding stable, where participants will depart for a route designed to discover the natural and historical heritage of the Buonacquisto mining area. The trek lasts approximately three to four hours, with an elevation gain of around 500 meters, offering opportunities to learn more about the surrounding territory. Along the trail, participants will enjoy a local food tasting, highlighting regional culinary traditions as part of the excursion. At the end of the route, riders will return to the stable for the Miner’s Lunch, a convivial moment inspired by local culture.
