Umbria Jazz 2026
From 3 to 12 July 2026, Perugia once again hosts Umbria Jazz, bringing the city to life with a rich programme of concerts and musical events. Alongside the major evening performances at the Arena Santa Giuliana, the festival spreads throughout the city’s key locations – from the Giardini Carducci and Piazza IV Novembre to historic venues such as the Teatro Morlacchi – with free concerts, afternoon performances and evening events that highlight the festival’s distinctive, city-wide character.
The festival opens on 3 July with Sting 3.0. On 4 July the program features Perigeo – The Last Concert and the project Beat with Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Tony Levin and Danny Carey. On 5 July Jon Batiste performs, with Annie and the Caldwells as the opening act. On 6 July the evening includes Charles Lloyd, alongside the project Terence Blanchard / Ravi Coltrane – Miles/Coltrane Centennial Celebration.
On 7 July Laurie Anderson with Sexmob and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram take the stage, while on 8 July Snarky Puppy & Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules Buckley, perform. On 9 July Stefano Bollani presents the project All Stars – Tutta Vita Live.
On 10 July the Brazilian Night features Gilsons and Gilberto Gil, followed on 11 July by Zucchero. The series concludes on 12 July with Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, with Judith Owen as the opening act.
