The artistic craftsmanship of wood has a long and rich tradition. Wood craftsmen, many of whom coming from other regions and whose names have often remained unknown, created works of rare perfection from the fifteenth to the mid-seventeenth century. Numerous testimonies of this artistic fervour are still visible today.
